Morgan Hunt is currently looking for a temporary Senior Communications Manager for a Higher Education Organisation in London. The role is offered on a 3 month basis, paying up to £400 a day, starting on 9th of November.
Senior Communications Manager (Strategic Change)

Reports to: Head of Communications
A leading global university is seeking an experienced Senior Communications Manager (Strategic Change) to play a key role in driving communications for a major organizational transformation. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead change communications across multiple platforms, engage with stakeholders at all levels, and shape the narrative of one of the world's most prestigious educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute an integrated communications strategy to support strategic change initiatives.
2. Drive the visibility of strategic change successes through engaging campaigns, case studies, and targeted messaging.
3. Manage a network of change ambassadors across various departments, ensuring effective communication throughout the university.
4. Write, edit, and deliver high-quality content for a range of internal and external channels, including web, email, and social media.
5. Use data and audience insights to analyze performance and refine communication strategies.
6. Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including the Director of Strategic Change, to deliver key messages and maintain alignment across teams.
Key Skills & Experience:
1. Extensive experience in change communications, internal communications, or similar complex stakeholder environments.
2. Strong editorial skills, with experience tailoring content for diverse audiences.
3. Proven ability to use data and insights to measure communication effectiveness and drive improvement.
4. Strategic thinker with the ability to craft compelling narratives and deliver impactful messaging.
5. Experience managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and balancing competing priorities.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office and email marketing platforms (e.g., Dotdigital).
