They have a combinedbeef and lamb processing and packing facilities and offer beef andlamb products ranging from retail ready cuts for butchers countersto branded packaged meat all as part of their service; raised onopen pastures sourced from local farmers and handselected by theirmaster butchers they produce beef and lamb products with integrityand unmatched qualityassurance.
Nowduring a time of exciting growth and developing site HR function weare looking for an HR Advisor to join theteam.
Theideal candidate will be an experienced HR Advisor who would like towork for a leading food manufacturer in a dynamic and productionfocused role with operational excellenceat the heart of what theydo.
Aswell as delivering on the day to day HR operations and jobdescription the HR Advisor will work closely with the HR Manager tosupport the site HR strategy including;employeeengagement employee relations and CIprojects.
Workinghours are 37.5hrs/week Monday to Friday site based with homeworking available asrequired.
RolePurpose
Youwill work closely with the HR Manager and key stakeholders withinthe business to provide HR expertise and support in all areas ofthe employee lifecycle. Support theongoingdevelopment of the HR function within aproduction driven environment whilst contributing to major changeprojects across the site. The role will deliver effective day today support inall areas of the employee life cycle including disciplinary& grievance absence & performance management andconsultations (including redundancy changes to termsand conditionsetc) along with participating in site/group strategicprojects.
Requirements
* CIPDQualifiedpreferred
* Passionateabout delivering a proactive operationally focused and valueadd HRservice to thebusiness
* Mustbe discreet diplomatic and treat information within the departmentas highlyconfidential
* Meticulousattention to detail essential including proofing andediting
* Soundunderstanding of integrity andcompliance
* Communicateswell in written and oral form with multinationals on all levels(being able to speak fluently in two or more languages would be anadvantage)
* Abilityto multitask and work under own initiative to deliver todeadlines
* Resiliencewhen faced with ambiguity and changing priorities whilstmaintaining a positive candoattitude
* Abilityto manage own workloadeffectively
* Relationshipbuilder with influencingskills
* StrongIT skills in HRIS and Office packages (particularly Word SharePointExcel)
