Role Summary
We are seeking a full time Admin Team Leader/Medical Secretary who will work closely alongside the current admin team leader and medical secretaries to supervise, mentor and assist a large administration team within Medical Imaging. This is a very busy, varied and demanding role whereby you will need to respond effectively to the changing demands of the services on a daily basis. Strong administrative skills are essential alongside the ability to plan and prioritise own workload.
About the Role
The post holder will be responsible for the supervision and delegation of work to a large admin team, to provide a full and efficient booking/reception and secretarial service. They will ensure appropriate day-to-day management of the waiting lists and outpatient bookings, manage the staff rota ensuring all areas are sufficiently covered in staff absence, and support the clinical team to provide an efficient service to patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work independently.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
