Owlsmoor Primary is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and patient 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly hard-working team on a fixed term basis. Our TA’s work with teachers to organise and support teaching and learning activities, the primary focus of this role is to do specified work with children under the direction and supervision of a qualified teacher.
You will be able to:
* quickly build a positive relationship with the pupil to promote their learning and academic progress, and support them with any special educational needs.
* remain calm and supportive even in challenging situations
* effectively communicate with the teacher and other staff members
* respond and adjust strategies based on the pupil’s needs and changing situations
* maintain a positive and encouraging attitude to help the child reach their full potential

Owlsmoor Primary is a vibrant Primary school with a Nursery and Out of School Club. We are well resourced and we have extensive outside space along with a Specialist Resource Provision. There are currently 550 children on roll.
