Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Estates and Facilities Department for an enthusiastic team member for a Facilities Management Assistant (cleaning). The post is suited to a motivated and experienced person. This post includes both wards and communal cleaning, where a high standard of cleanliness is expected.
Main duties of the job
You must have good communication skills, a pleasant personality, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work in all areas, including all wards as required. You need to provide a high standard of cleanliness at all times. You must also possess the ability to work within a team or independently, with an understanding of health and safety in relation to safe working practices.
Some experience in a similar role would be beneficial. This post is subject to a standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check.

* NHS experience and training in safety, health, and catering or cleaning tasks.
* CIEH Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene, or equivalent.
Knowledge/Experience
* Experience of working in a similar role (cleaning or catering)
* Experience of working in the NHS
* Experience of dealing with people
* Knowledge of the National Standards of Cleanliness and NHS Colour Coding.
