You and Your Team: As a Cloud Governance Lead, you will be reporting to the Cloud Operations Manager. You’ll will lead the documentation, governance, scheduling and maintenance control activities for multiple secure environments. Manage, configure and monitor capacity and configuration requirements for those environments. Working with business stakeholders, takes a pro-active approach to cost reduction within the environments, identifying and investigating anomalies and providing various levels of cost analysis, forecasting and reporting. In your day-to-day role, as a Cloud Governance Lead you will: Cloud Governance Advocate for cost governance and financial management. Design, implement, and manage the financial operating model for cloud. Engage with stakeholders responsible for cloud workloads, information security, risk management, and architecture. Cost Optimisation & Reporting Monitor and analyse consumption data within cloud tools. Provide cost optimization recommendations aligned with industry best practices. Create reports quantifying the financial benefits of cost-saving activities. Policy and Process Management Maintain adherence to architectural standards and usability design. Drive technical assessments to identify deviations and opportunities. Support audit processes, risk control testing and track action plans. Reporting on key KPI’s, trending, identifying gaps and working with relevant stakeholders to plan and execute the remediation. What will make you stand out? Azure Fundamentals (AZ 900) ITIL Knowledge Strong analytical and reporting skills. Experience in analysing requirements and advises on scope and options for continual operational improvement. Experience in assessing and evaluating risk in a SaaS/ Cloud project. Experience in advising on available standards, methods, tools, applications and processes relevant to group specialism(s) and can make appropriate choices from alternatives. Understands and evaluates the organisational impact of new technologies and digital services. Creatively applies innovative thinking and design practices in identifying solutions that will deliver value for the benefit of the customer/stakeholder. Clearly demonstrates impactful communication skills (oral, written and presentation) in both formal and informal settings, articulating complex ideas to broad audiences. Learning and professional development — takes initiative to advance own skills and identify and manage development opportunities in area of responsibility. Security, privacy and ethics — proactively contributes to the implementation of appropriate working practices and culture.
