Fleet Support Engineer
Join our Fleet Support Engineering team and play a vital role in maximising aircraft availability and operational performance. You'll provide frontline technical support for AOG and out-of-service events, deferred defects, and recurring faults, working closely with Maintenance Operations, Planning teams, and Engineers. Through proactive fleet monitoring and collaboration with Flight Operations, Fleet Technical Management, and OEMs, you’ll help drive system improvements and ensure the continued airworthiness of our fleet.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Working on a continuous shift basis to support daily line activity and nightstop maintenance requirements.
2. Providing troubleshooting assistance to Maintenance Control and the Network during significant AOG or out-of-service events.
3. Producing further work instructions with Fleet Technical Management and OEMs when troubleshooting guides are exhausted.
4. Analysing repetitive and recurrent defects using Maintenance Records.
5. Assuming responsibility for resolving technical issues and providing on-site AOG recovery support when required.
6. Technical liaison with OEMs and vendors.
7. Participating in operational meetings and contributing to the AMP review process.
8. Enhancing processes to improve aircraft availability.
9. Supporting part number identification and ensuring compliance with legislation and company procedures.
10. Helping to meet aircraft availability targets and complying with health and safety requirements.
11. Accepting other duties as reasonably requested.
What you’ll need to do the role:
We’re looking for a dedicated professional who holds a UK and/or EASA B1 Licence with A320 family authorisation, and has a strong background in managing or carrying out structural repairs. You’ll be passionate about safety, display a progressive and collaborative attitude, and be adaptable to the fast-paced demands of our operation. You’ll share knowledge to drive continuous improvement, understand the impact of your role on shareholder value, and stay focused on meeting customer needs. With strong attention to detail, you'll ensure accuracy in all work, meet objectives within agreed timescales, and consistently evaluate both personal and team performance to uphold high standards and industry best practices.

Location & Hours of Work:
This full-time role will be based in Luton Airport working Early and Late shifts on a 28 day roster pattern.
