The Clinical Education team is looking for an experienced administrator to support our clinical teaching and education programmes, as well as the administration of student placements. You will be based at Colchester Hospital, but there may be an occasional requirement to work across the trust when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deal with external and internal enquiries and queries from within the Clinical Education Team and other areas within the Trust, providing complex or sensitive non-clinical information to students, staff, or education providers.
2. Pass on messages as appropriate to the relevant person/team in a prompt and timely manner.
3. Use initiative to deal with routine and some non-routine problems that may arise, and escalate issues to the Lead Co-ordinator or other Leads/Manager as necessary.
4. Assist in developing and maintaining efficient electronic and manual filing systems.
5. Responsible for the maintenance and inputting of accurate data on hospital systems.
6. Manage your own workload to ensure completion of the full range of tasks using the knowledge, skills, and experience you have gained, and support other team members in undertaking administrative activities when required.
