Job Description We're working exclusively with a great local engineering firm who are now looking for an IT Project Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to work with the executive team on delivering IT projects, managing third party relationships and delivering software solutions to support business growth. Reporting into the Finance Director this is a standalone role. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing the relationship with Aspire, ensuring the seamless integration and operation of third-party IT services. This role involves overseeing software solutions outside of the Microsoft, managing internal IT projects, and effectively communicating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives. Responsibilities Third-Party IT Services Management: · To oversee the performance and deliverables of Aspire, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs). · To coordinate with Aspire to address any issues, improvements, or updates required for optimal service delivery. Software Management: · To manage and support software applications outside of the Microsoft suite, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization. · To evaluate and recommend new software solutions to enhance business operations. Internal Project Managemen t: · To lead and manage internal IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. · To collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables. · To be responsible for the development of a technology strategy for making best use of existing technology stack and presenting options for technology refresh. Stakeholder Management: · To build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, understanding their IT needs and ensuring their requirements are met. · Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, providing regular updates and seeking feedback. Leadership : Provide leadership and guidance to the site management teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Qualifications Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role, with a focus on third-party IT services management. Strong knowledge of software applications outside of Microsoft. Excellent project management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities. Track record of delivering IT projects or example of successful project delivery Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
