Support Workers Required for a Residential Children’s Homes in Rugeley Staffordshire WS15 EBD & LD We have an excellent opportunity for Support Workers who are happy to work towards Level 3 Children and Young People who have experience supporting children with challenging behaviour, LD or EBD Are you a Support worker with experience supporting Children with EBD or LD? Interviewing starts ASAP Hours and salary for Support Worker Salary £11.75 per hour (under review) plus £50 sleeps (6-10 per month) 2:4 pattern – Shifts 2 days on 4 days off Shift times are 10am / 10pm, sleep, 7am - 10pm - day 2. 37-40 hours per week Support Worker Requirements Experience in a similar role ESSENTIAL NVQ Level 3 Children and Young People’s Workforce qualification (or equivalent)PREFFERED Drive -Hold UK driving licence ESSENTIAL Successful candidates for Residential Support Worker and Senior Support Worker will: Be caring and compassionate Bring fun and laughter into the Home Be there to support children through the good times and the tough times Help children feel good about themselves and encourage them to try new things Listen when children want to talk Celebrate their achievements Support young people towards independent living. Assist is developing their self-belief and coping skills. Work collaboratively with colleagues and family members in meeting children’s needs. Support and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of all aspects in the home including cooking, cleaning and finances. Ensuring that the needs of the young people are being met and reviewing and recording changes to those needs.
