Job Title: Senior Resource Manager
Location: Hybrid (3 office days required)
Introduction:
Major Players have partnered with a global social first marketing agency offering bespoke, end-to-end services - clients include fashion, food and finance. The team includes creatives, strategists, designers, editors, and account managers working together to produce impactful content for renowned global brands. We are currently looking for a Senior Resource Manager with strong experience in operations.
About the Role:
The Senior Resource Manager will play a pivotal role in optimising day-to-day agency operations. You'll oversee resource planning, implement new systems to enhance operational efficiency, and ensure projects are executed smoothly for both current and new clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Resource:
* Manage resources across the agency and provide monthly capacity overviews.
* Lead weekly resourcing meetings to address staffing, project, and resource challenges.
* Proactively identify skill gaps and plan for staffing needs by analysing client requests.
* Build and maintain relationships with third-party suppliers, freelancers, and emerging talent.
* Updating and reconciling freelance trackers.
Operations:
* Design and implement end-to-end processes for proposals, pitching, and campaign management.
* Establish and enforce controls and standard operating procedures across the business.
* Develop policies for data management, quality assurance, and operations.
* Oversee shared drives, ensuring security standards are met and access is aligned with internal processes.
* Manage Google Suite/Workspace, ensuring proper access controls and reviewing permissions monthly.
* Conduct periodic reviews to ensure efficient organisation and compliance.
* Oversee tools access, security processes, and IT asset management (e.g., password resets, hardware database).
* Lead initiatives to improve IT security and certifications management.
* Manage the timesheet process and generate reports for the agency.
* Provide insights to improve overall efficiency.
* Coordinate submissions for industry awards and certifications to elevate the agency's profile.
* Collaborate with the Finance team to elevate account payable processes.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Leadership & Hands-On Approach: Proven ability to lead teams and manage tasks directly.
* Process-Oriented: Experience in designing and implementing operational processes.
* Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with HubSpot, Google Admin Console, and shared drive management systems.
* Project Management Expertise: Strong skills in overseeing project workflows from proposal to reporting.
* Resource Management Expertise: Experience in resource planning, reporting, and identifying skill gaps in a creative agency setting.
* Creative or Marketing Agency Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a marketing, media, or social agency.
