We’re now looking for an exceptional Assistant Headteacher to lead and inspire our 14-16 Direct Entry learners to achieve their full potential. This is a pivotal role, as Assistant Headteacher, you will lead the development and delivery of our GCSE and personal development curriculum, ensuring that every learner receives the education they need to thrive.
You’ll provide strong leadership, drive staff motivation, and build a talented, dedicated team that work to the highest standards on a daily basis. You may also be asked to take on teaching responsibilities, further strengthening our commitment to providing high-quality education for all.

About you
This role requires a dedicated individual with a strong commitment to improving educational outcomes for children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The ideal candidate will possess the skills and experience to effectively lead a team in supporting these learners. Previous experience working with 14-16 year olds in an educational setting is essential, and prior management experience in a related field would be highly advantageous.

Required
· Subject specific Degree or professional qualification at Level 4
· Teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed and QTS/QTLS)
· Evidence of CPD update
· Experience of working with 14-16 year olds in an educational setting
· Teaching experience in a relevant setting
· Preferred
· SENCo qualification (NASENCo)
· Management qualification
