Over the past years, researchers in the thermofluids groups have placed strong emphasis on the development and application of models for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and machine learning, with a particular focus on multiphase and turbulent heat transfer flows. The appointee for this Research Associate position will be based in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering within The School of Engineering, which is comprised of around 90 academic and research staff. Academic staff members within the department deliver world-class teaching and supervision to over 1000 undergraduates, over 600 taught postgraduate students and over 250 postgraduate research students. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to be enrolled onto a development track for researchers, and support towards application for further funding to extend their research.
