Job Title: Sales Ledger Person
You're an experienced sales ledger person and you're comfortable using Sage. But you're looking for a new working environment this year.
Working in a four-person accounts team, surrounded by people who'll rally around to ensure you get the best start in your new job, you'll inherit a sales ledger and debtors list in great shape. The outgoing person has taken pride in their work so you'll pick up from them, not taking on a great mess.
Responsibilities:
1. Raising invoices and chasing outstanding monies, enlisting help across the business where you might encounter an issue that needs escalating.
2. Uploading monthly payroll information to the accounting system.
3. Performing bank reconciliations.
You'll also join a business which prides itself on good communication, reviews staff salaries every year and is trying to stay competitive to attract and retain people.
Working Hours:
Hours are 8.30 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break. Hybrid working is available after completing your probationary period (usually three months) and this would be three days in the office and two days working from home. If you prefer to work in the office all the time, then you're welcome, of course.
