The Role:
We are recruiting a Tax Associate who wishes to develop their career in a highly technical and commercial environment. You will provide high-quality professional services to our diverse range of entrepreneurial clients, including:
* Preparing and filing VAT returns and self-assessment personal and corporation tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Assisting in tax planning activities and identifying opportunities for clients to achieve tax savings.
* Liaising with clients to gather required information and ensure accurate representation in all tax documents.
* Collaborating with the tax team to analyse complex tax issues and develop strategic, tailored solutions.
* Researching and interpreting tax laws and regulations, providing accurate and up-to-date advice to clients.
* Fostering strong relationships with our entrepreneurial clients, ensuring they receive personalised and exceptional service.
Requirements:
* Experience working in practice, ideally 2-5 years
* Be professionally qualified ACA/ACCA or ATT/CTA
* Excellent IT skills, including Excel
* Legal right to work in the UK
* Ability to work from our Teesside office
