Your new role The Science department made three incredibly strong appointments this year: a director of Science in January and a T&L coach and ECT in September. These appointments have added expertise, vision and enthusiasm to the science department and have seen results improve in a short amount of time. We are now looking for an ambitious teacher of Science to continue to support and encourage pupils to reach their full potential. What you'll need to succeed You will be a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with strong subject knowledge in Science and a proven track record of successfully teaching Science, ideally at secondary level. You will have a good or developing understanding of cognitive science and its importance in the classroom, you understand the importance of a knowledge-rich curriculum, and you will support the school's belief that all children can achieve, irrespective of background or circumstance.
