Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic Accountancy Practice in the Sheffield area as they look to recruit a Semi Senior into their team on a full time permanent basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Managing and overseeing client bookkeeping, preparing complex financial statements, and engaging in various accounting and administrative tasks.
* This position requires a blend of accounting expertise, client service orientation, and a proactive approach to professional development.
* Overseeing client bookkeeping, preparation of VAT returns, and managing a personal portfolio of clients.
* Preparation of complex financial statements, interim management accounts, and tax returns for businesses of varying sizes.
* Participation in client meetings and collaboration with directors and business owners.
* Contribution to the training and development of junior team members.
* Involvement in various accounting/administrative tasks as needed.
Person Specification:
* Proficiency in Iris, Xero, Sage Business Cloud, Sage 50, and QuickBooks is advantageous.
* Qualified by experience or AAT qualified / part-qualified ACA/ACCA.
* Demonstrate excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
