The battery materials and cells group are seeking to appoint a Process Technician to provide technical support for the Energy Innovation Centre (EIC).
The EIC includes a £13 million Battery Materials Scale-Up Pilot Line for the development of new battery chemistries from concept through to fully proven prototypes.
The Process Technician role will be associated with WMG's partnership with CPI in the delivery and operation of the Advanced Materials Battery Industrialisation Centre (AMBIC) - jointly hosted by CPI and WMG.
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
About You
The role requires relevant experience in a related engineering discipline as you will be responsible for providing support to both internal and external stakeholders and contribute to a wide array of projects.
As a result, you should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as a high level of awareness for health and safety.
