The Role
Working within the Operational Accounts team to ensure payments are made daily, purchase invoices are processed and paid in a timely manner, and that client bank accounts are reconciled on a regular basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing daily/monthly task workflow.
* Make GBP and foreign payments and deal with any questions/compliance issues that arise.
* Carry out daily/weekly/monthly bank and float reconciliations and investigate anything that cannot be reconciled.
* Processing purchase invoices from our providers.
* Processing ad hoc sales invoices.
* Processing Dr and Nurses escort time sheets and expenses.
* Sending of sales invoices and payment remittances to our clients/providers.
* Complete monthly and other adhoc tasks.
* Dealing with internal and external queries via email or phone.
* Prepare and investigate weekly and monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements
Qualifications
GCSE Maths and English (Grades A-C) - Essential
Accountancy - Would be an advantage but not essential as the company provides study support.
Skills
Computer knowledge to include Outlook, Word and Excel - Essential
Have strong written and verbal communication skills and a good telephone manner.
Experience
At least 1 year's experience in an accounting environment - Desirable
Characteristics
Excellent attention to detail, numerical, organised, integrity, flexible, and confidential.
Be able to work on own initiative as well as in a team.
Be able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
