Here at EMIS, we have an opportunity for a tech-focused Delivery Lead to join us on a 9-month fixed-term contract.

Joining our high-performing Portfolio Delivery team, we manage a diverse range of cross-functional projects of varying sizes and complexities across high-profile healthcare sectors. This role will focus on the software development lifecycle.

What you’ll do
We are a busy team managing complex deliverables and conflicting demands, with a strong focus on quality for our customers, while also enjoying our work!
You will be responsible for delivering multiple initiatives from initiation through construction to BAU. This includes planning, tracking, and reporting within agreed timescales and quality standards.
Stakeholder engagement is key. You will work closely with the business to ensure project work streams align with strategic objectives and our commercial priorities.
Other key responsibilities include:
* Manage risk, issues, and change, including mitigation, escalation, and reporting.
* Motivate and lead your team, peers, and wider business towards success.
* Build trusted relationships with customers and third-party suppliers.
* Collaborate with our LPMO function for governance, reporting, and tracking progress.
* Manage scope and liaise with other business areas to identify dependencies.
* Contribute to a high-performing Portfolio Delivery team and promote continuous improvement.
Who you’ll be
An experienced Delivery Lead with a pragmatic and enthusiastic approach to delivery.
You should have proven ability in building relationships, influencing, and negotiating with multiple stakeholders and customers.
Understanding of software development methods, techniques, and concepts, with a track record of delivering full lifecycle projects, is essential.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment with competing demands is key.
Other skills and experience include:
* Knowledge of project methodologies such as Agile, Kanban, SAFe, Waterfall.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Self-motivated, comfortable working remotely.
* Experience with project reporting and lifecycle management tools like MS Project.
