Delivers business core values key business objectives. Responsible for managing a large team/s to deliver key outcomes contributing to strategic development.
You'll be responsible for:
5. Leads and oversees project activities, ensuring smooth interface with the wider project/s.
6. Supports project and construction lead reporting on productivity, programme/schedule.
7. Manages preconstruction, design & site activities, driving service excellence and health and safety in facades.
8. Manages contract progress, dispute, notices & finding solutions to issues.
9. Monitors and maintains façade programme working with the wider project team to support progress.
10. Plans scope and agree interfaces and working methods with preceding and following trades.
11. Manages and monitors commercial aspects of contract - scope, tender, negotiations, variations, final account.
12. Ensures clear safety and quality leadership in place.
13. Delivers continuous improvements in processes through application of best practices and lessons learned. Drives transformational change.
14. Engages with the wider Mace community, sharing knowledge.
15. Partners with multiple internal and external stakeholders, working in collaboration to (implement strategy/programmes/initiatives).
16. Oversees facade project managers and construction managers.
17. Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You’ll need to have:
18. Good experience of facades construction management - experience of multiple different façade types.
19. Experience of short term planning & facade installation methods
20. Centre of window and cladding technology (CWCT) training (or equivalent).
21. Site management safety training scheme (SMSTS).
22. Great communication skills.
23. Strong interpersonal skills.
24. Excellent time management.
25. Good technical background.
26. Ability to direct others to work, ability to resolve conflict.
27. Able to chair meetings and consultants.
28. NVQ Level 6+ PM (or equivalent).
You'll also have:
29. Degree level qualification (or equivalent).
30. MSC in Façade Engineering (or equivalent).
31. Member of the chartered institute of building (MCIOB), Ceng or similar (or equivalent).
32. Experience of overseeing off site production.
33. Experience of managing design teams.
34. Experience of planning logistics.
35. Able to set clear targets and motivate site teams to meet these.
36. Able to engage with operatives & directors equally to deliver results.
37. Delivers key business objectives.
38. NVQ level 7 (or equivalent).
