Role Responsibility
We are currently seeking to recruit a Full Time, Front Door Officer in the Front Door Service.
Working days will be Mon-Fri.
The Role of a Front Door Officer is key within our service. Working in a team led by a Team Managers, supported by Senior Practitioners and Experienced Social Workers this role entails the gathering, recording and analysis of information from a range of sources to contribute to decision making so that children and their families receive support at the most appropriate level.
Information and enquiries are received from the public, district teams and partner agencies, therefore the role requires the post holder to be professional and efficient in their responses, with excellent communication skills, IT skills and the ability to manage and respond to challenging situations should they arise.
Applicants should be educated to GCSE level or equivalent. The role is for those who wish to expand their experience and knowledge of childrens safeguarding services.
