A growing Chartered Architect’s practice is looking to recruit an Office Manager for their new studio in Harrogate, HG3.
Required is a super organised and dynamic Office Manager to support our clients' teams in Harrogate and Leeds with a wide variety of administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone who can handle a range of duties to help streamline office operations efficiently.
You will be the friendly 'go-to’ person for their staff as well as liaising with clients and other external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
* Reception duties including meeting and greeting clients, screening phone calls, emails, and other correspondence for the directors.
* Co-ordinating meetings and handling travel arrangements.
* Assisting with project management tasks, including document preparation, tracking project timelines, approving timesheets, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
* Managing office operations, including procurement of supplies and equipment maintenance.
* Studio Management - ensuring the new premises is well maintained and Health and Safety compliant.
* Overseeing general administrative tasks such as minute taking, filing, record keeping, and handling confidential information.
* Supporting the efforts of the Marketing and Business Development Manager.
* Supporting the work of the ESG Committee.
* Assisting with HR-related tasks, such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records.
* Staff engagement and wellbeing activities.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and a real 'people-person’ who is keen to positively contribute to the company’s excellent culture. Previous experience working in an Architectural, Construction, or Design setting is desirable. Admin and low-level HR/H&S experience is essential. You will be IT competent and proactive with the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload. You will be keen to take on extra responsibilities as and when they arise, working closely with the Directors to drive the business forward.

Hours are 9am to 5.30pm or 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, which is flexible depending on circumstances.
Salary depending on experience and suitability: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum plus benefits.
