My client is a family run, fast growing manufacturer, and they're market leaders in their field. They have a rare, and very exciting opportunity for an Operations Lead to join the team. This role is ideally an immediate start, however we're still open to hearing from those with a standard notice period as it's more about the right fit.
The role is based in Hornby, and is full time Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week on site.
Here is what the role will entail:
* Developing operations strategies.
* Running/overseeing the day-to-day operations such as the production and distribution areas.
* Planning and overseeing organisational change.
* Working closely with the Quality Lead in managing quality assurance programmes.
* Setting and reviewing budgets and managing costs.
* Managing the recruitment and training of staff.
* Analysing and improving processes.
* Enforcing health and safety procedures.
About you:
* Previous relevant experience in a similar role in manufacturing.
* Confident with ERP and MS Office packages including Excel.
* Analytical thinker.
* Must hold NZ Residency or NZ Citizenship to be considered for this role.
