To be responsible for key children's observations, planning, assessments, to create children's learning journey. To be responsible for producing formative and summative assessments of key children's progress. Promote an ethos within the setting that values and celebrates diversity that enables all children and adults to make a positive contribution to nursery life. Contribute to practices including the key person system, that support partnership working between parents, practitioners and others in order to lay a secure foundation for children's future learning and development. Liaise with Lead Practitioner and Inclusion Co-ordinator when early signs of individual needs that could lead to later difficulties have been identified. To ensure the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND). Contribute to practices supporting individual children and families transitions into the nursery between rooms and to school or other setting.
