About the role
The Early Careers Co-ordinator reports directly to the Early Careers Manager. The purpose of this role is to support the Early Careers Team in administering future talent programmes including the Graduate, Apprentice, Industrial Placement, Power Academy, EmployAbility and Work Experience programmes.
The role will support activities to help deliver our attraction, selection, development and delivery of our Early Careers programmes. You will work closely with our Early Careers Specialists and Recruitment Business Partner.
Part of your responsibilities will be supporting the delivery of inductions across all programmes, assessment centres and administrative tasks in recruitment and training. You will help to create and maintain the Early Careers calendar of key events, organise and help host large events.
This role is based in Warwick, and we continue to offer hybrid working from office and home.
Key accountabilities
* Early Careers inductions: Provide administrative and facilitation support for onboarding and inducting new starters across all Early Careers programmes, including managing hotel and room bookings.
* Early Careers on scheme events: Provide administrative and facilitation support to the annual programme of events such as celebration, induction and development days, including preparation of materials and diary management.
* Early Careers Recruitment: Work alongside our Early Careers Recruitment Business Partner to deliver on our attraction, selection, assessment and recruitment process to identify and assess talent across all Early Careers programmes.
o Co-ordinate our external events engagement calendar, e.g. Careers fairs.
o Co-ordinate assessment centres, identifying assessors and ensuring they are trained.
o Act as a key point of contact for candidates ahead of assessment centres; manage the shared mailbox, book candidates onto assessment centres, and process expenses.
* Internal Work Experience: Co-ordinate the NESO Work Experience programme, ensuring that colleagues offering work experience submit requirement documentation.
About you
* Passionate about developing future talent and helping us to attract and develop the next generation of energy professionals.
* Experience of working within Early Careers or emerging talent teams, either on scheme or recruiting.
* Highly organised and able to support multiple programme deliverables.
* Experience in co-ordinating internal and external events.
* Knowledge of Early Careers recruitment is desirable, but not essential.
* Strong communicator with stakeholder management skills.

A competitive salary between £39,000 - £42,000pa – dependent on experience and capability. You will also receive a bonus based on company performance, 26 days annual leave, and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
