About you You are looking for a career in childcare, having already gained some experience working with children or young people. You’re enthusiastic, creative and open minded and you're keen to learn whatever it takes to become an outstanding early years educator, working with children from 4-12 years. You have a natural, nurturing, openness, a warm and positive outlook, and you care about learning and education standards in the UK. What you'll be doing You'll likely start most of your days with a fully formulated plan That will soon get completely derailed though Pivoting when the circumstances call for it is a regular occurrence in child care Creativity is key. Teaching young children allows for hands on arts and crafts, storytelling, exercise, and educational games. It’s important to keep things fresh and try new activities to keep attention spans engaged. Of course we work within the EYFS standards, but that doesn't stop you from engaging your creative flair and enthusiasm for learning.
