Develop and implement innovative curriculum initiatives that align with the school's vision and the latest advancements in history education. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and challenged to reach their full potential. Build positive and supportive relationships with students, promoting intellectual curiosity and a passion for historical inquiry. Play an active role in the department, including contributing to curriculum development, assessment strategies, and departmental meetings. Participate in whole-school events and initiatives, fostering a collaborative spirit and contributing to the wider school community. The Ideal Candidate: A qualified History Teacher with a demonstrable track record of success in engaging students and fostering their understanding of the past. Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for history, with a strong understanding of historical concepts, periods, and methodologies. Strong pedagogical skills with the ability to deliver innovative and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
