Control Security Engineer
Location: London
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week
The Role
To carry out and complete Security Systems Projects: Installation and Commission Works and reactive call outs. To ensure Reactive Services and PPM Services are carried out smoothly and efficiently.
Systems scope:
Access Control, CCTV, Door Entry, Intruder alarms, Gates and Barriers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure effective running of the assigned jobs:
* Sufficient labour and time are allocated
* Security and Access control system
* Reactive and Repair works to Security Systems
* Resourcing sufficient equipment and materials in conjunction with the purchasing administrator
* Fill out job sheets with callout description and time taken
* Fill out necessary log sheets and keep log books on site up to date
* Reactive call outs in hours and out of hours
* Raise job sheets for additional time on site
1. Ensuring Compliance with Health and Safety regulations/risk assessments
2. Liaise with customers and tenants to ensure expectations are managed and met

1. To present a professional image at all times, both in the office and to clients and be a 'role model' for the rest of the staff
2. To be willing to work in excess of usual working hours when the balance of the company's work or allocated responsibilities requires this. We do not expect excessive working hours, rather we require flexibility when there is a clear benefit to the company
3. To understand the consequences of your actions for the company and to actively share responsibility with the managers and the rest of the other electrical engineers for the success of the company

2. Train apprentices and ensure that information for any site issues is passed to the relevant servicing engineer
3. Engage actively in innovation of the team services and constant improvement of the procedures

5. Provide encouragement to input ideas and constructively challenge decisions made
Key Results Areas
1. Sales - Speak to various tenants and gain more maintenance contracts
2. Wastage - Minimise time on callouts / Minimise return visits / Minimise cost of damage and wastage of materials
3. Customer Satisfaction - To be measured by repeat business, achieving high standard of Workmanship
4. Programmes - On time and on budget

Access Control: Paxton 10, Paxton Net 2, Impro PAC
Entryphone systems: Comelit, BPT, Videx, Fermax
CCTV Systems: Hikvision, Dahua, Samsung. Fault finding and installing both Analogue and IP systems.
Intruder Alarms: Texecom, Galaxy, Pyronix
Auto Gates/Doors/Barriers: Faac, CAME
