Our client, a distinguished name in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a talented Project Manager for Construction & Facilities projects. This role is a contract position located in Broad Oak with hybrid working arrangements available. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing the delivery of construction and facilities projects, including building refurbishments and new builds Ensuring projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standards Managing project stakeholders and maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle Conducting risk management and implementing mitigation strategies where necessary Preparing and presenting project progress reports Ensuring compliance with relevant health & safety legislation and CDM Regulations Implementing value engineering and pragmatic problem-solving approaches Coordinating with various internal teams and external contractors Job Requirements: Experience in project management within the engineering or construction industry Understanding of project delivery methodologies and best practices Familiarity with relevant health & safety legislation, including CDM Regulations Excellent organisational and communication skills Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field is desirable Possessing or working towards formal project management qualifications (APM, PRINCE2, etc.) is advantageous SHE qualifications like IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH Construction Certificate are desirable This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced project managers to join a dynamic and challenging work environment within the Defence sector.
