Support Worker - Full time or Part time (25 hours to 30 hours per week)
£12.00 per hour

At Elgin, we are a busy service with highly active people we support who enjoy a wide variety of activities including swimming, horse riding, going to the gym, socialising, shopping, and spending time with friends and family.
You will be working with individuals both at home and out in the community, supporting them with day-to-day activities, maintaining their independence, and in some cases, personal care.
Successful applicants will be able to cover a variety of shifts. Sleepover shifts are essential.
Examples of shift patterns are as follows:
* 8 am – 4 pm
* 10 am – 6 pm
* 8:30 am – 8:30 pm
* 8 am – 3 pm
* 4 pm – 9 pm
* 4 pm – 10 pm
* 3 pm – 10 pm
The service also operates a sleepover shift: 11 pm – 11 am
Due to the nature of the role and the activities the people we support like to participate in, a driver with a clean license is highly advantageous.
Working with a variety of individuals in Elgin, you will provide support with:
* Day-to-day tasks
* Personal care
* Medication administration
* Social integration
* Hobbies and interests
* Appointments
You will help to organise and participate in activities and support a range of life skills. You will be comfortable with lone working during a typical shift. An understanding and/or experience of autism and recognised qualifications such as SVQ 2/3 are preferred for this role, although not essential, as Real Life Options will put you through the SVQ 2/3.
An enhanced PVG is also required for this role.
