About the role We have a new opportunity for a Junior System Tester to join our team in Oldham on a full-time permanent basis. Hybrid working, you will spend two days based in our Oldham office and three days working remotely. In this Junior Systems Tester role, you will be joining a geographically dispersed team of 9 experienced Testers focussed on both BAU and project work. You will test newly developed Information Systems and developed changes to operational Information Systems supporting Guinness by facilitating digital transformation across the organisation. What we’re looking for We are a customer-focussed organisation, so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You will ideally have experience of system testing and will be able to develop effective relationships with diverse groups of people. You should be able to work efficiency both on your own initiative and collaboratively as an effective member of a team. You will also be able to demonstrate these essential skills & experience: Proven experience of testing Information Systems· Experience of delivery within a structured development approach such as Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban using AzureDevOps, JIRA or equivalent.· Ability to understand, analyse, interpret, explain, and summarise complex data and issues in a logical manner.· Ability to and to proactively communicate progress and issues to Managers.· Ability to prioritise own work having sourced relevant inputs.· Good written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.· Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
