Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist looking for a new and exciting challenge to develop your skills within an inpatient older peoples mental health care setting? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our well-established team at Lynfield Mount Hospital.
The opportunity is based on the Dementia Assessment Unit working with older adults with complex needs.
As a senior occupational therapist, you will complete comprehensive assessments of functional ability, deliver individualised treatment plans and support recovery and transition from hospital to home or care settings. You will work collaboratively with the wider MDT both on the ward and in the community. In addition, you will be responsible for the support and development of the occupational therapy and activity team at the unit.
We are seeking an innovative practitioner, able to drive service development, manage a complex caseload, and support the leadership within the occupational therapy and activity team on the Dementia Assessment Unit.
