Role and Responsibilities
1. Devising, developing, delivering, and updating individualized rehabilitation and therapy/support plans with peer support and supervision.
2. Providing support, guidance, and training to therapy and care assistants.
3. Providing ongoing treatment, monitoring, and support to service users' physical needs, including sourcing specialist equipment and advising on mobility and equipment use.
4. Supporting a multidisciplinary team with assessments, planning, and implementation of patient care.
5. Delivering physiotherapy services in liaison with the Head of Therapies.
6. Leading in clinical governance and adhering to the code of conduct from the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
7. Managing physiotherapy assessments and treatments for complex neurological conditions.
8. Developing, implementing, and evaluating individual treatment plans, liaising with relevant agencies.
9. Utilizing clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice to develop care plans.
10. Participating in clinical audits and outcome measure analysis.
11. Carrying out risk assessments and managing clinical risks.
12. Identifying and sourcing specialized equipment for residents with complex needs.
Minimum Requirements
* A Physiotherapy degree.
* Registered member of the HCPC.
* Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based physiotherapy practice.
* Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and inspection processes.
* Evidence of continued professional development.
