We are looking for client-focused experienced receptionists to join our invaluable front of house team at Wanstead 24-hour Veterinary Hospital, on either a full or part-time basis. The roles involve a high level of face-to-face contact with our clients, so you must have the confidence, empathy, and experience to provide the standard of care and the personal touch we expect for our clients. This involves providing effective communications internally and organising our diary so that we can provide the best advice and accurate information to our clients. We are fortunate enough to be able to explore both full-time and part-time options for these positions. The roles involve shift work, with the latest shift up to 10.30pm and a regular weekend rotation. Due to the nature of the role, part-time hours can be across different days each week, and a level of flexibility is required. As well as a high level of face-to-face client care, there is also a large amount of phone and written communication to our clients, and these methods of communication must be treated as equally as professionally. You will also be responsible for day-to-day administrative tasks such as managing the email inbox, paperwork filing, daily banking and liaising with insurance companies. We are ideally seeking candidates with previous reception responsibilities within a veterinary or healthcare setting to join our team and can work early and late shifts. We do ask for a certain level of flexibly in the role, due to the nature of the profession. You would need to be computer literate although training will be given, but more importantly we are looking for friendly, confident, empathetic individuals who will be proud to make the reception area, their areas of responsibility and for individuals with a passion for animal welfare and who love being a pivotal part of a large vibrant team.
