Credit Control Temporary Assistant Job Type: Temporary Location: Central Norwich City. Salary:£13.00 to £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)Reed Accountancy Norwich are seeking a Credit Control Temporary Assistant to join our clients finance team on a temporary basis. This role is crucial for managing cash collections and resolving queries to ensure customer accounts are up-to-date and orders are released promptly. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams to maintain efficient credit control processes. Day-to-day of the role: Sending statements to customers based on agreed timetables weekly/monthly and as required. Logging of credits, obtaining authorisation in line with authorisation limits, and processing of credit notes. Managing the credit control mailbox, including answering customer queries and forwarding queries as necessary. Contacting customers to ensure timely payments. Logging customer activities using our in-house CRM and updating it with data extracts. Supporting various tasks expected of the credit control function. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience in credit control or a similar finance role. Proficient in using CRM systems for logging and tracking customer interactions. Strong organisational skills to manage a high volume of customer accounts. Excellent communication skills to liaise with both customers and internal teams. Ability to work collaboratively across different departments to resolve queries and disputes. Knowledge of standard accounting procedures related to credit control, invoicing, and sales ledger adjustments.
