Interim Board Secretariat Manager
This is a unique opportunity to step into a pivotal role within the secretariat team of a leading organisation. As Interim Board Secretariat Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of the firm’s governance structures by supporting its Board Committees, ensuring compliance for the firm’s entities and working on ad-hoc projects. This 12-month fixed-term contract is ideal for a well-rounded governance professional looking to broaden their expertise in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Roles and Responsibilities
* Oversee statutory compliance for a portfolio of group entities, ensuring adherence to the Companies Act.
* Act as secretary for designated boards and committees, including agenda planning, minute-taking, and action follow-ups.
* Provide governance advice to senior stakeholders and support governance projects, such as elections and transparency reporting.
* Work closely with team members to address board and committee matters, deputising as necessary and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Experience and Qualifications
* Qualified Chartered Company Secretary, Solicitor, Chartered Accountant, or possess a comparable professional qualification.
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of governance and company law, with experience in company secretarial duties and statutory compliance.
* Experience of leading on the planning, attending and drafting accurate summaries / minutes in formal meetings with senior stakeholders.

* Possess strong organisational skills, capable of managing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations in a dynamic environment.
* Be adept at handling confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
* Show a proactive, detail-oriented approach, with the ability to exercise sound judgment.
