This is an exciting opportunity to join us on our risk and compliance journey and work as part of our market-leading risk and compliance team.
What you'll do:
1. Contribute to the creation of an effective risk-based assurance plan.
2. Deliver assurance reviews ensuring fair customer outcomes, regulatory compliance, and effective risk management.

4. Maintain accurate detailed records of work undertaken.
5. Clearly articulate review conclusions, with clear recommendations to mitigate risks.
6. Assess action closure evidence for remedial actions.
7. Contribute to status reports on plan and action completion progress.
8. Deputise for the Head of Risk & Compliance Assurance (including attendance at relevant governance forums) as required.
This role would suit people who have:
1. Substantial experience within a senior risk, compliance or audit role within an FCA regulated entity.
2. Proven experience of independently designing and delivering assurance reviews.
3. Extensive knowledge and experience of the FCA Handbook relevant to CFPL.

5. An analytical understanding and lateral thinking to find out what the risks are and being curious to delve deeper.
6. Strong relationship building and influencing skills at all levels of the organisation.
7. Previous experience of creating accurate, evidence-based reports with exceptional attention to detail including clarity of thought.
