The Position
As a Training and Learning Development Professional, you will:
1. Establish, maintain, and develop a well-functioning Learning & Development curriculum for employees.
2. Build and maintain relevant ISO-train modules, manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and LearnIT.
3. Function as a project/program manager on learning developments, from needs analysis to delivery methodologies and impact measurement.
4. Manage external vendors and oversee project management related to learning delivery.
5. Ensure compliance and capability building for employees in the Novo Nordisk Research Centre in the UK.
It is a full-time role where office minimum 3 times per week. The role is based in Oxford. London – King’s Cross location would be an option, with regular travels to Oxford required.
Qualifications
The professional we are searching for is a person who communicates effectively and is eager to approach new challenges and ambiguity with an open and flexible mindset. We encourage you if you meet the following qualifications:
1. University/Equivalent degree, or substantial work experience as a substitute for specific degree requirements.
2. Some experience leading projects or with learning administration/development.
3. Ability to work independently with a strong drive to execute objectives.
4. Experience working in a complex organisational setup, preferably in a global context.
5. Computer literacy with databases, spreadsheets, and general software.
6. Ability to communicate complex issues simply and understandably.
7. Cultural awareness and desire to be a part of an international work environment.
8. Growth mindset, curiosity and ability to connect the dots.
9. Eager to be a part of a team and contribute to a positive working environment.
About the Department
You will be a part of an international team that supports activities across the Novo Nordisk value chain in our Research Hub in Oxford and our Digital Hub in London. Our ambition is to collaborate across countries and areas to make sure that we are doing things right whilst supporting a fast paced and innovation led business. Currently we are more than 200 colleagues in Oxford and London. The team you will join is growing to ensure that we can support our colleagues doing research that will lead to meaningful outcomes for the patients we wish to serve.
