Basic literacy and numeracy skills Good understanding of written and oral communication skills Knowledge of and ability to operate computerised packages such as Microsoft Office Previous clerical/administration experience Previous experience of working in a customer service environment Can demonstrate good organisational skills, incorporating attention to detail Ability to pass relevant courses for the role: NICHE, manual handling & ladder training Basic understanding of Health and Safety in the work environment Physically able to handle bulky items Resilience to work in a challenging environment (e.g., smells, lack of natural light) Prepared to wear uniform and PPE willingness to work at other sites within the district area when required Prepared to provide statements and attend court as required Must provide biometric samples as required for ongoing inclusion on relevant elimination databases for policing services.
