Role Overview
As a Senior Buyer, you will play a crucial role in managing procurement activities, ensuring cost efficiency, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. This role is ideal for someone with automotive procurement experience who can drive sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and support production demands in a dynamic environment.

Location: Warwickshire
Salary: £45k to £60k
Working Arrangement: 5 days on site (Potential flexibility for WFH)
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute purchasing strategies to optimize costs and supply chain efficiency.
* Source, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts for both direct and indirect materials.
* Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategic procurement initiatives.
* Work closely with internal teams, including engineering and production, to ensure alignment with business objectives.
* Manage supplier risk and develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
* Lead supplier development and onboarding to support company growth.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in a Senior Buyer or Procurement role, ideally within the automotive or manufacturing sector.
* Strong negotiation skills with a track record of cost-saving achievements.
* Excellent understanding of supply chain management, sourcing strategies, and supplier relationship management.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in procurement systems and ERP tools.
