What you'll be doing
You will work with the HO Commercial Direct Underwriting Development to build, adapt and manage the Motor Fleet product to achieve growth and aid in the delivery of financial targets across all distribution channels. You will work with the HO Underwriting team to manage stakeholder relationships providing necessary underwriting and e-trade design & build expertise to enable the efficient construction and ongoing maintenance of our Motor Fleet product.
* Aid in the delivery of top and bottom-line financial performance for DLG Commercial Motor Fleet product ensuring periodic reviews and pricing and underwriting actions are carried out within set timetable.
* The scoping, design and underwriting specification of Commercial Motor Fleet product.
* Assist the Head of Commercial Direct Underwriting Development in design, specification and manage the technical underwriting content of appropriate policy documentation as required.
* ‘Championing’ Commercial Motor Fleet Product by working with and building strong relationships with Key Stakeholders, to ensure profitable account growth in line with budget.
* To work with Pricing & Product Management areas to continually assess and develop the Motor Fleet product is market comparable as a minimum standard.
* To ensure Risk 1st line of defence is maintained through effective process management and auditing.
* Assist Head of Commercial Direct Underwriting Development in ensuring product is maintained and developed in line with strategic, regulatory and statutory developments.
What we're looking for
* Prior experience working within a commercial line’s underwriting environment, including insurance company, underwriting agency or broker.
* Cert CII Qualified or progressing towards.
* Articulate, analytical and innovative individual.
* Experience of working with software houses is preferred but not essential.
