AA Euro Group are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead critical works on one of Europe's largest nuclear facilities. This role presents a unique opportunity to be part of a high-profile project within a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the delivery of heavy civils and reinforced concrete (RC) packages on a large-scale nuclear construction project.
2. Oversee project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring adherence to time, cost, and quality parameters.
3. Ensure compliance with nuclear safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
4. Manage multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and project teams.
6. Provide technical leadership in heavy civils and RC structures, ensuring best practices are followed.
7. Monitor project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
8. Oversee financial performance, including budget control, forecasting, and cost reporting.
9. Drive a culture of health, safety, and environmental excellence on-site.
Key Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within the heavy civils and reinforced concrete sector.
2. Prior experience working on nuclear, power, or highly regulated infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
3. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, engineering principles, and nuclear safety compliance.
4. Demonstrated ability to manage large project teams and subcontractors.
5. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
6. Proficiency in project management tools and software.
7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
8. Relevant engineering or construction management degree (or equivalent qualification).
9. Chartered status (ICE, CIOB, or similar) is advantageous.
10. Valid CSCS, SMSTS, and nuclear security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one).
