Job Title Specialist Teacher (Specialist Resource Provision) School Name Queens CofE Academy Permanent/Fixed Term/Casual Permanent Working hours/FTE 1.0fte About Us & The Role Queens Academy is opening a Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) for pupils from KS2 with Cognition & Learning needs. The SRP will have its own classroom providing a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for children who need support at a higher level than the mainstream classroom. Pupils in the SRP will be assessed and learning subsequently planned to meet their individual needs, it will encompass both the National Curriculum, their EHCP and a focus on cognition and learning development. Key Requirements Are you: • Able to take responsibility for planning and implementing appropriate work programmes for all children in the designated class, within the framework of national and school policies and in line with the EHC targets. • Able to work with individuals and/or groups and assist in providing care in a safe and happy environment. • Highly motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude. • Committed to inclusive education.
