The Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the students, both in and out of the classroom. You will work closely with teaching staff to provide high-quality care and assistance tailored to each student's needs. This includes: Assisting with educational activities and ensuring an inclusive learning environment. Providing personal care, where necessary, and supporting life skills development. Encouraging independence and supporting students in achieving their individual goals. Helping with therapeutic interventions and activities, both on and off-site. Building positive relationships with students, fostering trust and confidence. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including teachers, therapists, and health professionals. Requirements A caring and proactive attitude with the ability to build strong relationships with students. Experience working with young people or adults with special educational needs is desirable, but not essential - training will be provided. Flexibility and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to engage in personal care duties when required.
