My client is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their lovely practice in Cardiff. The hospital is surrounded by nature and tranquility, with great access to mountain biking, beautiful coastal walks, and waterfall walks.
They aim to tailor working patterns to suit the needs of staff so they can have a work-life balance. They have a comprehensive range of equipment, including: CT Scanner, Visiting MRI Truck, Digital X-Ray, Dental X-Rays, Fully Equipped Lab, Ultrasound, Blood Analyzers, Radiosurgery units, Endosurgery facilities, and extensive Orthopedic Soft Tissue surgery kit, plus a full hydrotherapy and physiotherapy service.
Ideally, you will be a competent vet with great experience and a surgical bias (not essential). Most importantly, you will be a good fit for the team and have the desire to achieve your full potential, working with a team of 18 vets who can mentor and develop your skills.
There are no OOH’s as they have their own night team in-house, and the work pattern is a 4-day week with one weekend shift every 5 weeks, making an average of 38 hours a week. They are seeking someone who:
1. Is happy to work within a team and acts with integrity.
2. Shows respect to their colleagues, clients, and patients.
3. Can use and share best practices.
4. Can think ahead and embrace change.
5. Takes ownership of their work and offers solutions to problems encountered.
6. Enjoys success and shows a desire to grow professionally.
