The Role
:
As an HGV Technician, you will play a pivotal role in preparing vehicles for MOT and conducting diagnostics for vehicles and trailers.
Responsibilities:
1. Performing repair, service and maintenance, focusing on HGVs.
2. Addressing Trailers and LGVs in accordance with depot procedures.
3. Thoroughly documenting tasks completed in job sheets and inspection sheets.
Requirements:
4. Previously worked as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or in a similar role.
5. Qualification in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance at Level 3 NVQ, City and Guilds 1,2,3 or equivalent.
6. Experience in onsite inspections and responding to breakdowns would be Preferred.
7. HGV 1 licence would be beneficial.
8. Valid driving licence.
Shift:
9. Monday - Friday: 8am - 6pm
10. Alternate Saturdays: 7am - 12pm
