We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and professional Head of Year to join our dynamic and successful team in September 2025.
This role presents an exciting opportunity for a skilled and organised pastoral leader to contribute within an innovative and thriving Academy. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for their subject and the creativity to deliver engaging and effective teaching.
Our ideal candidate will be a dedicated team player who shares our vision to ‘Let your light so shine.’ You will lead your year group by setting a clear vision and delivering a strategic plan aligned with the school’s priorities. You will monitor both academic and pastoral progress, ensuring all students are supported throughout their time at the school. This position will be supported by a team of 8 Form Tutors, whom you will manage, focusing on the wellbeing and progress of the students in your year group.
We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who can teach in Maths, English, Social Science, Drama and Religious Studies at KS3 to KS5.
