Marketing and Technical Sales Assistant - Animal Nutrition - 12 months
Come join our dynamic and growing Animal Nutrition team at Azelis where you will have the opportunity to gain both commercial and technical experience in a supportive environment.
We are looking for a recent graduate or a placement student with an Agricultural Science or related degree for a 12 month placement opportunity to support our sales team.
You will be supporting the development of our specialist product portfolio of feed ingredients which includes innovative blends of organic acids, phytogenics and plant-based protein sources spanning applications across monogastric, ruminant and companion animals.
This will involve supporting our marketing strategy and gathering market intelligence on the use of these ingredients.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience across multiple species applications, product knowledge, and technical understanding of supporting nutrition and performance as well as commercial and marketing aspects.
Mission/Purpose
1. A 12 month contract ideal for a recent graduate or placement student.
2. To support our external sales team in GB across multiple species applications for our product range.
3. Gathering of market intelligence via telephone calls, meetings and online meetings in order to identify market potential across a number of products in the Azelis animal nutrition portfolio.
4. Speaking to a range of customers for the market intelligence gathering process, including our direct B2B customers and our indirect customers, the livestock producers. Feedback and information obtained will need to be recorded in our CRM system.
5. Involved in helping to deal with incoming customer requests to support sales managers as needed.
6. Assisting with marketing and PR to help raise the Azelis brand and our Principal’s product brands, especially via our Animal Nutrition customer portal.
7. Updating and maintaining the Animal Nutrition customer portal, reviewing the portal analytics in order to provide lead information to the external sales team for follow-up and awareness.

* Good technical capability will need to be demonstrated with ideally an agricultural science/animal nutrition-based degree qualification, or working towards one.
