Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: North West England, Cheshire, Poynton Job Type: Contract, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £85 - £95 Per day Job Duties: Supporting teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons Assisting with classroom management and student supervision Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials Supporting students with special educational needs Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Relevant teaching assistant qualification or experience Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team Education: Educated to GCSE level or equivalent Experience: Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of educational practises and principles Ability to engage and motivate students Basic IT skills Knowledge of safeguarding procedures Preferred Qualifications: Higher level teaching assistant qualification First aid certification Working Conditions: Working hours are typically during school hours May involve some additional hours for planning and meetings Work is mainly conducted in a classroom setting All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
